Ingredients

  • spirit

    Aged rum with deep molasses, toffee, and dried fruit notes.

  • fruit

    Sweet-tart juice; foams beautifully when shaken.

  • fruit

    Fresh-squeezed orange juice — sweeter and rounder than the citrus juices.

  • mixer

    Sweetened coconut cream. Coco López is the classic.

Method

  1. Shake all hard with ice.

  2. Pour, ice and all, into a hurricane glass.

  3. Grate fresh nutmeg over the top.
