Ingredients

Tequila aged in oak 2-12 months. Mellower, with caramel.

Smoky agave spirit produced primarily in Oaxaca. Earthy and unmistakable.

syrup
Agave nectar thinned 1:1 with water.

bitters
The classic gentian-based aromatic bitters. A few dashes deepen everything.
Method

Combine all in a mixing glass with ice.

Stir 20 seconds.

Strain over a large cube.

Express and flame an orange peel.
