Ingredients

  • other

    Freshly brewed hot coffee.

  • syrup

    Made from raw cane sugar. Richer and more molasses-forward than simple syrup.

  • spirit

    Smooth, lightly sweet whiskey, triple-distilled in Ireland.

  • mixer

    Whipping cream. Used in dessert cocktails.

Method

  1. Pre-warm an Irish coffee mug.

  2. Add coffee and demerara, stir.

  3. Add whiskey, stir.

  4. Float lightly whipped cream over the back of a spoon.
