Ingredients

  • spirit

    Light, crisp, lightly aged or filtered rum. The default for daiquiris and mojitos.

  • fruit

    Sweet-tart juice; foams beautifully when shaken.

  • mixer

    Sweetened coconut cream. Coco López is the classic.

  • fruit

    Always fresh-squeezed. Sharper than lemon, essential to tiki and tequila drinks.

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients with 1 cup of ice in a blender.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and slushy.

  3. Pour into a hurricane glass.

  4. Garnish with pineapple wedge and cherry.
